David Beckham is Good Samaritan

--- 節錄網路新聞 Telegraph

David Beckham has been dubbed a "Good Samaritan" after he stopped and helped a man push his car after it broke down with his family inside at the side of a busy road.

The motorist did not recognised him at first when he stopped in Ware, Hertfordshire, close to the footballer's home.
He is currently staying in England while he trains with Spurs.
Father-of-two Paul Long, 46, phoned into Richard Bacon on BBC Radio Five Live to tell him about his surprise 'Good Samaritan'.
He said: "I was taking my kids to school this morning when the car packed up as we approached a busy roundabout over the A10. We were in the middle of a very busy roundabout. Cars were buzzing past and I had two kids in the back.
"I had my two kids in the back but no one stopped, no one came to help.
But after 10 minutes I saw a car had pulled over into a layby in the distance. Its hazard lights came on.
"A figure got out, wearing a hoodie, this sort of slipped down and as he got nearer it became apparent to me it was David Beckham.
"I said, 'Look, David Beckham' and then he nodded.
"He asked if we were ok and I said 'could you give us a push over to the side?' which he duly did. Someone else came to help as well.
"Then he asked again if we were ok and as he walked away I said 'Thanks David, I love you'.
"I could only see his car in the distance, it looked like an Audi, but I could not be sure on that. It wasn't flash."
Later he said he was now Beckham's "biggest fan" after his encounter with the star.
Mr Long, a Tottenham Hotspur fan from Ware, Herts, added: "He was a legend and a true, honest citizen.
"I have always admired him but what he did for me was lovely. I'm his biggest fan now although I do feel a bit stupid that I told him I loved him.
"He's a genuinely top bloke especially as he braved the rain to do what he did."
Mr Ware was driving an eight-year-old Nissan Primera with his daughter, six, and son, eight.
